Join us at LibraryCon Live 2024

We’re looking forward to our favorite event of the year, once again proudly sponsoring Library Journal and School Library Journal’s LibraryCon Live! on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The free virtual event celebrates its 10th anniversary with a full day of programming featuring comics and manga, and is an excellent opportunity to expand your readers’ advisory recommendations.

Job Title: Marketing Manager (CLOSED)

We are looking for a dynamic marketer who is as passionate about comics and libraries as they are HTML and Instagram, and understands the difference between being data-driven and data-informed. This role involves creating, executing, and analyzing integrated marketing campaigns to support product marketing and customer engagement goals across email, social media, and other digital channels. Additional responsibilities include managing a marketing asset repository and providing remote logistical support for LibraryPass’ presence at select conferences.

Comics, Manga, and Neurodivergence

As a teenager, I really needed Comics Plus or something similar: a digital library that championed manga, comics and graphic novels as valid forms of reading. An educational resource that showed that visual literature deserved respect and representation in libraries.

SLJ Loves Comics Plus (Again!)

The most important feature of Comics Plus is that it offers unlimited, simultaneous access to its materials. Readers of all ages have faced the disappointment of discovering that the books they want to read are not available on their library’s shelves, because they are checked out, missing, damaged, or unavailable.
